Jo Trafford is an artist and political activist living in Portland, Maine. Her art has taken many forms. Collaging began about a year ago when her brother went into memory care in San Francisco. She wanted to find a way to stay connected to him since he lived on the other side of the universe. Unfortunately the “clutter" became too overwhelming for him.  But she found meaning in this form of communication. She continued to explore how to put images together from disparate sources to tell a story.
