A Poem in the Continuum of Love                                           


I love you
And that’s all I can say.
The world goes on and on.
The parrot keeps talking.
The trees still stand in the forest
Nestling into one another to form canopies.
The river still runs slowly,
It runs quickly sometimes
When it wears the legs of a rain.
And here I am
Facing this desktop computer,
Writing you a poem
That has neither beginning nor end
