6/2/2020 Photography by Kristina VukBeing in love with photography from her young age, Kristina started her professional creative journey in her early twenties, by the name “Christine Wolf Photography”. First few years she was collecting her knowledge about photography through self learning and volunteering at cultural events. She never stayed in one lane. Working as a concert photographer gave her confidence and feel for rush, on the other hand finding interesting colors and shape in macro world gave her calmness and focus. She had a constant model, her husband (then fiancé) with whom she managed to create cinematic photography. It took her few years to really find her style and voice in photography and today she enjoys telling stories through her lens. After photography she actively started writing and creating book covers. If she could tell one thing that describes her, it would be: “Busy mind gives you freedom.” She hopes future would give her more puzzles to solve, because she really enjoys solving them. “You never know what life is giving you, until you search it for yourself. I would always say; searching for yourself can be a long time job, so why not make it fun? Try everything and stop at nothing.” Living in her hometown of Osijek, Croatia she founded Facebook group “Dare to dream in Osijek” which represent her attempt to help others in her community to find their potential in creative writing and photography. In future she hopes for more opportunities like this, because it is rare to be truly recognized and appreciated by your work. Comments are closed.
