8/3/2021 Poetry by Jennifer A. McGowan Jennifer A. McGowan won the Prole pamphlet competition in 2020, and as a result, Prolebooks published her winning pamphlet, Still Lives with Apocalypse. She has been published in several countries, in journals such as The Rialto, Pank, The Connecticut Review, Acumen and Agenda. She is a disabled poet who has also had Long Covid for 15 months at time of writing. She prefers the fifteenth century to the twenty-first, and would move there were it not for her fondness for indoor plumbing. 8/7/2021 10:31:06 am
Oh! this poem by Jennifer McGowan soars…not a word out of place or too many, so very heavily moving in its solid square as you read it on on the page and, as for that last line…well, just read it for yourself. You have missed something very, very special if you don’t. Thank you so much for sharing, Jennifer 🙏 Comments are closed.
