I like you and I want to tell you
that good things are coming to you.
I can think of two recent suicides,
men who hung themselves in the garages
and sheds of the places they rented
and they hung until they fell
because no one came to look for them
until their rent was one week late.
There is an animal dead on the road
run over again and again and again
but its soul can only fly once and yes,
all souls can only fly once,
I think that good things are coming to you
and all of us that wait.
