Chasing Shadows I yearn to find the old me endlessly peeping in places that I shouldn’t be-- naked closets, gloomy alleys abandoned buildings It's eternally dark, slippery and drenched with misery I see ghostly memories rise and fall like snapshots held of by invisible hands The silhouette of the bloodied butcher flinging unneeded parts of me I snatch them one by one for they are not worthless they are my unfortunate memories.
