6/4/2020 Years of Winter by Christian Garduno Davide Ciriello CC Years of Winter Colors of spring explode all around your eyes no wonder there’s so much wonder only a couple hours into spring and the hickory is already thick inside your clothes it’s in every lash of your eyes And after many years of winter comes that tiny flutter between heartbeats I feel like a child in the sun again spinning circles up through the clouds all the way toward the tiny jupiters reflecting in your eyes So many seasons in the permafrost trying to bide my time oh, how I truly thought all was lost now I’m biting my bottom lip We could pick up off exactly where we left off right back from that last kiss into a new kiss don’t you know I am so with it and that is all I really want in my life -to fall back in love with you there’s really no wonder at all and she's singing— being in love… is being free Christian Garduno edited the writing compilation (Evolver) and a solo collection (Face).
